The new TALIS PRO for LINN speakers* is manufactured with a custom M12 thread adaptor that is specifically designed for the Klimax, Akubarik and Akudorik ranges. * See checklist in product images on the left for clarification.
The standard TALIS PRO with M8 thread, works perfectly on the 520, 530, Majik 140 & Majik 190 models.
The TALIS PRO range ensures highly effective reduction of ground vibration from your loudspeakers WITHOUT damaging your floor! Vibration originates from the speakers and manifests itself in your Hi-Fi system in the form of harmful microphonics.
The additional black Glider at the base of the feet, uses POM* (a material well respected in the HiFi world) which has excellent damping properties. The special shape of the Glider allows for optimal oscillation distribution. An added benefit is it is now much easier to move the speakers for optimum placement!
Why washer absorbers rather than spikes?
Spikes "dock" the speaker on the ground. On unstable ground such as laminate or parquet floors, this leads to an audible sound degradation.
* Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal, polyacetal and polyformaldehyde, is an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability.
The TALIS PRO also includes a slice of the polymer Sorbothane®, which is separated by a sheet-like insert (see the purple layer in the third image) between the cork and rubber ring. The selective separation of the two absorber layers ensures further absorption.
If you cannot remove your spikes, use bFly-audio's new b.DISC PRO spike supports instead.

"We have used the TALIS PRO feet under Linn and non-Linn loudspeakers and in a range of systems with large and smaller loudspeakers. In all cases, we find the improvements quite dramatic. There is an audibly quieter background to music with more recorded detail becoming apparent with music we are familiar with. Overall, the loudspeakers become quite invisible in the presentation of music, delivering a natural openness with ease and more recorded detail.
We can only assume that the TALIS PRO feet are doing a fine job preventing (bass) vibration from re-entering the loudspeaker so that we hear more from the drive units and less from the loudspeaker cabinet, which otherwise pollutes drive unit emissions. We're very happy with them!" 😊
