Base Two PRO"It has been a week now since my Gryphon equipment and Pioneer Blu-ray Player have been positioned on the BaseTwo Pro Platforms. Sonically there is a gain in resolution, sound stage and fine dynamics - which I no longer want to do without! Music is clear and clean with beautiful timbre. 4TUBE ABSORBERS & BASE TWO PRO Combination"The 4Tube absorber feet were placed under the tube preamp (Melody 1688 II) and under the power regenerator (PS Audio Power Plant Premier). The result was extremely impressive. The improvement is so dramatic, that you do not have to change the configuration back and forth to hear the difference! I then added the Base Two Pro which brought improved stability to the sound - any sharpness and hardness has disappeared. The combination of the 4TUBE on the BaseTwo enhances the properties of the equipment base - the overall vitality of the sound is increased. MASTER ABSORBER FEET"As promised, I would like to give you some feedback on the MASTER absorbers. I was curious if the audible differences were really as dramatic as they had been stated to me over the phone. And yes, you have not over-hyped your product - the differences are dramatic! I have the MASTER absorbers, under my AV receiver (PIONEER SC-LX85) and Blu-ray player (PANASONIC DMP-BDT 310). The MASTER's seems to absorb vibrations more strongly, the music is clearly more "quiet", tidier, but also a little sterile. Whereas the highs are a little softer (defused) but the bass (again like you stated) much clearer and crisper & drier. They make the sound extremely pleasant and appear tidier, with a totally "natural" sound from instruments - one has the feeling, that you could play the music even louder, without in any way making the sound exhausting or uncomfortable! Thank you for your personal consultation (a rarity these days !!!) and for the lightning fast delivery."

Linn LP12 lBase Upgrade & LUXURY TURNTABLE WEIGHT"The LBase for my Linn LP 12 is a hit. The design is well thought out (with a rear cut out for the cables) and visually pleasing. The hearing test: the support and the weight bring calm and precision to the playing. I have a cast iron base with a quartz sand-filled aluminum chamber profile stand, which is firmly screwed to a hardwood plate sitting on the carpet. From classical to jazz, concert hall or acoustic guitar solo - all super realistic. And all for a more than reasonable price!"

LUXURY TURNTABLE WEIGHT - THE PG1+"... After a few minutes it was clear that the PG1+ brings an audible benefit to the sound quality. Initially, the music seemed a little quieter, farther away, but at the same time more textured and clear. With increased listening, the impression that the music was quieter - evaporated. This was probably because the stylus was receiving fewer artefacts previously caused by less precise tracking. The end result is a very homogeneous, transparent and deeply staggered soundstage. The voices and instruments are better positioned - there is more 'air around the musicians.' I can only warmly recommend the PG1+."
"... I want to share my impressions of the PG1 + with you. I put one of my most familiar LP's on. I immediately noticed that the music was quieter than usual, at the same volume. My assumption is that the disk noise and drive noises are eliminated by the PG1 +. The sound has become clearer, dynamic and more spatial. Sounds that were only faintly heard before, are more audible now. The bass is slightly slimmer, yet very powerful and precise. The PG1 + is perfect for my Roksan Xerxes 20th anniversary turntable." |
